Acrylic and Mixed Media on Paper, 5 ft. x 5 ft. Part of a series of begun at the end of 2020, In The Beginning There Was Only Water represents a reframing of the traditional Western creation myth. The body of work in progress reflects what scientists have determined really happened at the creation of the planet. It also presents an opportunity, if only in images, to re-create the world anew by erasing the disastrous impact that humans have inflicted.
