This image was made through a linear panorama system where I create images along a transect through a forest, and through focus stacking and manually combining the images into a panorama in Photoshop, the image represents a linear and full depth perspective on a forest ecosystem. The prints are made on Cotton Fabric and suspended. The image is a result of the collaboration between photographer Eric Zeigler and ecologist Aaron Ellison. Our hope is to reveal the individual trees in a forest equally to the entire forest ecosystem.
