This oil painting was the result of an Arts Council UK grant allowing me to travel to the Lake District and work with the Wildlife Trust to study peat bogs. These areas store and retain much carbon, methane and water, and their preservation is key to tackle climate change and prevent flooding. I have done workshops for various groups based on these paintings.
