Quarantine

Quarantine

description

Quarantine is an ongoing sculpture consisting of wine corks collected from Washington, D.C. residents during the COVID-19 pandemic. The work explores our actions during the pandemic, such as increased alcohol consumption, and the connection our impact and consumption have on global landscapes, in this case the Cork Oak forests of the Mediterranean region of the world.
