This piece is made from a piece of metal, rescued from a construction site. It was a roof of a chimney of an old building, that used to be a shelter for homeless. By saving this piece, not only I saved it from going to a dumpster, but I saved a part of history, a part of energy that was going on in this building for a long time. Instead of painting over the metal, I used oxidation chemicals to create a natural to the metal way of changing its color.
