Spare/Spheres (Butyl is in the Eye of the Beholder)

Spare/Spheres (Butyl is in the Eye of the Beholder)

description

60.00 salvaged bike tubes were hand rolled in to 7 giant orbs weighing 200-400 pounds each and mounted on pedestals festooned with garlands of the leftover valve stems. The work represents over a ton of non-recyclable rubber that would have gone to the landfill.
